Evo is Not a Dirty Word!
Well it is
really - The gun Evo and Pre-85 class riders assembled at the
spiritual home of VMX in NSW - Bulahdelah - for the latest chapter
in the testament. A full round of (16) races Saturday afternoon and
again Sunday morning on the 2.9 kilometre Supertrack had competitors
primed for some serious dust flinging in the Sunday afternoon trophy

Thanks must go to the landowner Jack Ireland, our diehard Steward
and Clerk of Course Greg and Christine Davidson, track neighbours
Gail and Mitchell Allen for tractor work and track preparation and
water sprayer Bill Only, First Aiders Tim and Erin Harris, track
superintendent Johnny James with his quad rendering assistance to
marshalls, , assisting riders by towing bikes and helping with the
rubbish removal.
All the Heaven Club members, family and friends
who helped out over the weekend with marshalling and lap scoring -
it was really a great team effort.
Welcome to all the new members who showed some great racing talent
including Daniel Tydd (166) and Ben Cooke (177) who both took home
trophies.
Congratulations to Ryan Schmidt who really gave the seniors a shake
up in his first ride in the seniors after upgrading from a junior.
Good to see the next generation of racers following the footsteps of
the elders and giving them a good hurry up. You have set a bench
mark for the other juniors about to graduate to seniors. Lookout
"elders of the tribe."
The next and final round, combined with the A.G.M.
and presentation, will be at Clarence near Lithgow on November 10/11
- details will be available shortly.
